Who is behind VetterLux?
I’m Carla Vetter, founder of VetterLux Vermietung & Consulting, a passionate host and a single mom.
Long before I opened my vacation apartments in Ravensburg, I was renting rooms to travelers in Indonesia. Some stayed just for their vacation, others for a longer period. Through that experience, I learned how important it is to have a place, even far away, where you can truly feel at home. A place where everything you need is there. Where you feel safe, welcome, and almost like you’re at home.
Because I’ve traveled a lot myself, I know how much the right vacation rental can influence your stay. It makes a huge difference whether an apartment is simply practical or whether you open the door and immediately feel "I can feel at home here".
How did VetterLux start?
As a single mom, I became acutely aware once again of just how important it is for me to have flexibility in both my work schedule and location. My daily routine needs to be organized differently and at the same time, I wanted to build something that truly fits my life, my experiences, and my strengths.
That’s how the desire arose to continue in my home country what I had already done with great passion in Indonesia: offering high-quality, stylish, yet warm, personal and welcoming vacation apartments in Ravensburg. Close to Lake Constance, Friedrichshafen, Lindau and the Allgäu region.
Whether someone is in Ravensburg on business, exploring the historic old town, visiting family or friends, or simply spending a vacation on Lake Constance, we all want a place to stay where we feel welcome and are happy to return to after an eventful day.
That’s exactly the kind of vacation apartments I wanted to create with VetterLux in Ravensburg.
What Does VetterLux Stand For?
VetterLux combines my last name with my personal understanding of luxury.
For me, luxury is reflected in the quality, the atmosphere, cleanliness, hospitality, service and the many thoughtful little details that make a stay especially pleasant.
That’s why our apartments in Ravensburg are lovingly furnished. Each of our apartments reflects my own standards of comfort and hospitality. Cozy beds, beautiful linens, plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware but also little things like an umbrella or a shoehorn, which you often don’t realize you’re missing until they’re not there.
For me, it’s not just about offering a place to sleep. I want to create modern accommodations where vacationers, families, business travelers and long-term guests enjoy spending time, find peace, and feel at home.
